ANA PRVAČKI: Applied Honey Proverbs

  • December 12, 2026 | MAF Garden 3pm

MAF presents Applied Honey Proverbs, a lecture-performance by artist Ana Prvački. In this special program, to take place in MAF’s Garden, Prvački shares bee and honey proverbs, and expressions gathered from oral traditions around the world.

Applied Honey Proverbs sits at the intersection of storytelling, myth, and anthropology, treating proverbs as compressed cultural knowledge–small time capsules carrying a community’s values, contradictions, and accumulated experience of living alongside bees. Each proverb becomes a short physical enactment, language turned back into gesture and image.
