Come celebrate Corita Day at the Marciano Art Foundation for an afternoon filled with art activities for all ages, live screen printing by Self Help Graphics, holiday shopping by Corita Art Center and Lenita by Grita, food by Triple Beam Pizza and Bernies, music by KCRW, and a performance by Bob Baker Marionette Theater at 2 PM.
Before and after the celebration, guests can also reserve timed tickets between 11 AM and 6 PM to see:
- Corita Kent: The Sorcery of Images
- Irregularity: Corita and Immaculate Heart College’s Rule Breaking Designs
Since 2019, when the City and County of Los Angeles proclaimed November 20 as Corita Day on what would have been her 101st birthday, the Corita Art Center have gathered each year to honor her boundless creativity, radical love, and lifelong commitment to social justice.
