In MAF’s Theater gallery, the exhibition will present seven of Bruce Conner’s iconic film works spanning nearly five decades of his practice. Presented in an alternating sequence across four different screens, the exhibition will foreground Conner’s experimental cinematic analyses of 20th century America, consumerism, and alternative ways of seeing through his signature manipulation of light, sound, and found footage.

In Pretenzione Intenzione: Objects of Beauty and Bewilderment from the Archive of Harald Szeemann, Marciano Art Foundation presents a collection of objects from the estate of the legendary Swiss art historian and exhibition maker Harald Szeemann (1933–2005).
